SALLY TISSINGTON is an award winning writer and visual artist. She has also worked as creative writing tutor at the University of Warwick and is currently a freelance writing coach. Her first novel 'Crocodile on the Carousel' was published in 2012 by G-Press and she won the prestigious Jane Austen writing prize in 2017. Her latest poem and accompanying short film for There's a Reason Why Women Don't Swim in Dresses has just been selected for the Women Over 50 Film Festival:
SUE JOHNS started performing as a 'punk poet' in the 1980's. Since then she has published extensively in anthologies and magazines such as Bad Betty and Dreich. Her most recent collections have been Track Record (Dempsey & Windle), Hush (Morgan's Eye Press) and Rented (Palewell Press). She is a powerful spoken word performer and very popular on the national poetry and performance circuit:
CAROLINE GILFILLAN is a poet, novelist and singer/songwriter based in the Lake District. She has published 4 full poetry collections including 'Yes' (Hawthorn Press) and 'Pepys' (Hawthorn Press) and in anthologies such as 'Bloody Amazing' and 'Reflected light' (Grey Hen Press). Among her accolades are the East Anglian Book Award for best poetry book and the Yeovil Literary Prize for Poetry. Her winning poem 'Origins' is just stunning. Caroline is an incredibly gifted writing coach who has given me a strong foundation to build upon over the years:
