We are getting ready to rock 'n' roll this Autumn after a long hiatus. I like to use this  song Atmastakam (song of the soul) also known as Nirvanashatkam to warm up my voice and prepare mentally. This shloka (Indian hymn) is sung in Sanskrit, the classical language of India and is a cover of a version sung by the Art of Living singers. It was originally written in the eighth or ninth century by Adi Shankacharya, the great vedic scholar and teacher who summarises the teachings of non-dualism or Advaita Vedanta through these exquisite words:
